Allister continued to wait on the worker, credits in hand.

And War isn't?

Allister was getting impatient, as he started tapping his foot for the worker to come back with is Medkit order.

((Do we really need brackets if there's nothing going on?))

Allister took a seat, trying to stay patient with the slow worker getting his 2 medkits. Meanwhile, he watched the weird man walk into the courtyard with his new purchase...

Jess gets her drink and sits next to Allister. "Well you think we're at least allowed to go home once were done with work for the day or what?"

"I guess so. I don't see any reason for them to keep us here if we're not getting paid for it..."

A loud speaker from across the room spoke "all new employees please report to the gun range we need to test your weapon use." the voice went away and the room was dead quiet.

((Allister knew, but it doesn't matter anyway, was denied purchase))
Allister shrugs and gives up on the worker, he turns to Jess.
" Home? I couldn't care less where I live as long as I get 3 hots and a cot. Come on,"
He heard the announcement, and walked outside. He asked a nearby experienced-looking employee for directions.

Jess sighs and heads off to the gun range after finding a map.

After not getting much information from the dull worker, Vann follows Jess to the gun range.

Before they made it to the range, a man wearing an apron with the cafe's logo on it ran up to Allister, holding two light medical kits. "Hey! Real sorry about that guy, he's new. Not exactly working material I gotta say. But here's what you asked for. It's on the house." He said as he handed Allister the kits.

They entered a large gray room. It appeared to be a standard shooting range. There was a booth near the side of the room for weapons checkout and near it on the ceiling was a security camera.

"so....I suppose with how we did at the shooting the mutant zombies, they want to know just how badly we shoot..."

"Seems like the case..."
He said, putting away the medkits and taking out his pistol.

Lamaar takes out his pistol and shotgun and asks if he needs to check them in or anything.

Jess sat down and watched dully as everyone else decided to play with their weapons.

Allister noticed her general lack of interest from Jess and put his gun in it's holster. He sat down near her.
"Oi, What's up?"

"I almost died today...and I have the feeling it gets worse.."
((pretty much starting level for techy jobs are about 50k/year, and thats working for the county in southern wisconsin...))

" No kidding. And insult to injury they're paying us lunch money for it all..."
Still noticed she wasn't using her pistol.
"So why don't you vent-out on some target-practice? I noticed today you're better than me anyway."

Lamaar was able to check his weapons in with the man behind the booth. After a few keystrokes, a a light above one of the shooting counters flicked on and he pointed Lamaar towards it.

((Hey, you guys just made six hundred dollars in LESS than one day. What do you want a private jet to the restroom?))

"I work IT, I'm supposed to be sitting in a nice comfy chair making six figures...Not toting a gun about so that I dont get eaten by weird....creatures."

A nearby worker overheard them and stepped over.
"Hah, newbies eh? It sounds like you guys had a similar start to the one we got last year."
((and you just said techs make 50k a year. You make 219 thousand a year at this rate .__, ))
