"So, whats do you want our cover to be, hm? You know if for nothing else Tax purposes. Because thats the best way for the government to start poking its nose around..."
((also tax evasion was the only thing they could nail Al Capone on, they never found the body and he still votes...))

"Just a general desk job. VennCo specializes in many areas, so depending on your field... I guess we could use an engineering firm as cover, they usually have many, often uncommon, clients."

"So, I'm a software engineer programming antivirus software? got it."

"Sure, let's go with that... Any other questions you three might have for me?"

The man sat back in his chair.

Lamaar said that he had none.

"We are allowed to go home and do whatever we want at the end of our shift right? as long as we don't tell anyone what we actually do."

"Yes, that is correct. Your hours will occasionally vary, sometimes as little as 15 minutes to as much as 2 hours, though."

"15 minutes to 2 hours of work? seriously?"

"No, I mean your average work shift plus or minus 15 to 120 minutes."

"Alright....now for a much more valid question, what are we actually going to do here?"

"Yeah, What it's says on our degrees or whatever you call orientation?"

"Er... A little of both. Most of our staff sticks to what they do best, but occasionally we're underhanded and we need to "borrow" staff from other specialties. After what you call the "Orientation" incident, we lost a lot of lab members, partly due to the actual mutations themselves, and partly due to the mental trauma some other lab staff experienced. We're going to need to use personnel from other specialties, but you will not be needed often; we use replacements on a cycle of sorts."

"Alright, I guess. Where can I start tomorrow?"

((Where as in location, or occupation?))

"Well, we still have a big mess down there, so I guess you could join the cleanup crew. After your lunch break, you can start doing your actual job."

"Will it involve the liberal use of flamethrowers?"
((Actually a good idea in a circumstance like that...))

"No, more of plasma weapons and other high power incindiary devices..." Alyx said stepping in...

"Now, that sounds interesting."

"Alyx..." Said the supervisor in a grim tone. "What are you doing up here? You know you're supposed to be supervising the cleanup operation..."

" Works with me too. Another question, what's the deal with employee housing?Prepaid I'm guessing, just need to get a room."

"Yep, that's right. Employee housing is not mandatory, though."

A woman in scrubs walked out of a hallway, saw the supervisor, and tapped him on the shoulder. Once she had is attention, she handed him a clipboard with a few information forms clipped to it and walked away.

" What are those?"

((One, the office isnt directly off of a hallway, and 2. I'm trying to have a conversation.... D:))

"What are what?"

Alyx looks at the clipboard, "Something about a creek..."

((then whats the office directly off of? and Alyx would most likely outrank the guy...))
"Alright, is this all we're doing here or what?"

"What do you want to do here?"
